Sportsman’s Lunch – Friday 21 June

Join us at Southport Golf Club for the 2024 Sportsman’s Lunch on Friday, 21 June, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This event offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of engaging conversations and good company, just a week before the exciting second Origin match of the year.

Our speakers for the day include NRL greats Gorden Tallis and Peter Tunks, alongside renowned jockey Glen Boss, with Steven Hawkins serving as our Master of Ceremonies. The event promises to be both enlightening and entertaining.

Tables are available for groups of ten, with individual bookings also welcome. Each attendee will nominate a Table Captain to coordinate seating arrangements. Your ticket includes a three-hour dining experience featuring an alternate drop main course and dessert (details to be confirmed) , complemented by a selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

$10 raffle tickets will be available on the day for a chance to win signed sporting memorabilia and other exclusive items. All proceeds support our Junior Fund, which promotes the development of junior golf at Southport Golf Club. The fund aids grassroots efforts for both boys and girls, supports advanced juniors, offers financial assistance for participation in golf programs and events, and ensures the long-term growth and sustainability of junior golf at SGC.
