What inspired you to start playing golf and from what age did you start?

I started playing golf at roughly the age of 13 years old, following my Dad and his mates around playing 9 holes on courses across the Gold Coast. I quickly fell in love with the game begging my Dad each weekend to either go to the driving range or play 9 holes with him. My Grandad also inspired me to play golf, once I fully started to get into the game I started playing rounds with him at Southport on the school holidays. From then I was addicted, my spare time would consist of going to the driving range and constantly watching golf on TV.

Why did you choose to become a Member at Southport Golf Club?

I chose to become a member at Southport since my Grandad was already a member there, each time I came to play with him I fell in love with the course and the facilities as well the friendly people. The course was only a 5 minute drive from my house so it was really easy to get to and from, making easy access for practice after school and quick rounds of golf on the weekend.

What is your GA Handicap?

My current handicap is 4.

What are your top 3 Favourite Golf Achievements?

1. Making the TSS 1st IV Golf team

2. Winning the Junior Nett Southport Club Championships in 2026

3. Shooting 72 (+1) at Southport

Who is your favorite player and why?

My favorite player is Rory Mcilroy because he is a great golfer. He absolutely smashes the ball being one of the longest on tour. Also when under pressure he stands up to it like his play off for the Masters in 2025 against Justin Rose where he won. He is a very aggressive player which I like, seeing him win now back to back Masters tournaments.
