What inspired you to start playing golf and from what age did you start?

I started playing golf in early 2023. After deciding to quit cricket, I began playing with my dad and older brother and quickly fell in love with the game. Like most beginners, I wasn’t very good at first, but my determination to improve and my constant desire to get better kept drawing me back. For six straight months, I spent every afternoon after school practising, driven by the goal of improving my game and performing well in the 2023 pennant season.

Why did you choose to become a Member at Southport Golf Club?

I decided to become a member at the SGC as the junior program and community were far better than other clubs. As well as living two minutes away from the club and the practice facilities/course being one of the best on the Coast.

What is your GA Handicap?

My GA Handicap is 10.1

What are your top 3 favourite golf achievements?

1: Getting a hole in one on hole twelve at Southport in 2024 with my dad and older brother.

2: Winning the Southport Junior Classic in 2024.

3: Playing my first pennant round at Emerald Lakes.

Who is your favourite player and why?

Justin Rose is my favourite golfer because of his determination and mindset towards golf. He is never defeated by anything and always shows resilience. I admire his coolness under pressure and his passion for perfecting his skills. It motivates me to continue working hard and becoming a better golfer like him.
