The par 5 13th is one of the signature holes of the course and offers a true test of “risk v reward”.
The tee shot here depends on how confident you are with your driver as the water on the right hand side of the fairway is 220 metres from this elevated tee. If you are confident play your driver down the left side of the fairway flirting with the water, giving yourself a chance in reaching the green in two. If you have any doubts leave it in the bag for a few more holes yet. Play it safe with a rescue wood or long iron off the tee and mid iron for your second, leaving you with a short iron for your approach to the green.
